Our first Athlete of the Month for 2022 is Jazmin Petrantonio! This Saenz Pena, Argentina native is a senior midfielder at Pensylvania’s Shippensburg University where she majors in management and accounting. Petrantonio has a long list of accomplishments in her five years at Shippensburg. She’s a 3-Time National Field Hockey Coach’s Associaltion (NFHCA) All-American First Team, 3-Time All-PSAC First Team, 2-Time Longstreth/NFHCA Atlantic Region Player of the Year, and more. In December 2021, Petrantonio was designated as one of 11 finalists for the prestigious DII Honda Athlete of the Year. This will be voted on at the end of the academic year by national balloting among 1,000 NCAA member schools as part of The CWSA program, now in its 46th year. In her career as a Raider, Petrantonio has scored 106 goals and has a 0.682 shots on goal percentage in 79 games.
